Taxi Prices:

Transfer in an Executive Cab from Airport to hotel to €25 per trip.

We can also provide an 8-Seater van at €35 per trip.

Take the route bus X4 from the bus stage outside the airport. Stop at the bus terminus in Valletta next to the City Gate. The Embassy Valletta Hotel is a short 10-minute walk down republic street, turning left at St. Lucy Street just past the law courts and right on Strait Street.

If you plan to visit the island, Valletta has the best public transport connections in the country.

€2 – 35 minute journey departing every 30 minutes

Rent a car from the airport and follow the A1 route to Valletta. Once outside Valletta, head down to Great Siege Road and at the junction with Marasamxett Road, turn right onto St. Mark Street. Turn right at Old Bakery Street and immediately left onto Melita Street and left again onto Strait Street.  The hotel is just 2 blocks up the road in the narrower part of Strait Street (corner with St. Lucia Street).

Valletta is mostly pedestrianized and whilst you can drive up to the hotel entrance to offload any luggage, street parking in the proximity may be hard to find and subject to CVA charges. For free road parking, head down on St. Lucia Street onto Marsamxett Road (Ring Road). Easier parking may be found at the top of Great Siege road, next to a large football pitch. This open-air carpark costs €3.00 per entry.

A paid underground parking is available at the MCP car park in Floriana, right outside Valletta’s main entrance, at a reduced price of €10.00 for 24 hour parking. Tickets at this special rate are exclusive to hotel guests and can be purchased from the hotel reception. We also offer free transfers from MCP carpark to hotel in a sanitised vehicle, which can be booked by calling or sending an email to the hotel reception at least a day in advance. Alternatively, you can opt to take the easy 10-minute walk into Valletta, through the City Gate onto Republic Street, turning left past the Maltese Law Courts on St. Lucia Street.  The below image shows the route in more detail.
